Important Update for Fall Immersion Day- November 3rd 
Asher has been preparing for the Fall Immersion Day.  Due to COVID it will be quite a different experience.  She will begin by meeting with the Theology teachers to enlist their support for using some of their class time to set up the experience. On Monday, October 25th Asher will go into each Theology class and present the content for the Immersion Day. She will also work on an activity guide for students to choose from for the actual day.
On the actual day, Wednesday November 3rd, students will stay home and work on their service project.  This will result in a reflection that will be turned into the Theology teachers for assessment. 

November 3rd is a workday as usual for staff; therefore, faculty and staff are expected to be on campus on this day. In fact, this day will give us the gift of time to work on the things we will be talking about at this Thursday's staff meeting.  This day will give time  to work on Mid Session as well as course catalog class descriptions/prerequisites/recommendations.  Also - if it makes more sense to have our November Staff meeting at 2:30 on this day instead of Thursday, November 4th - we can do so.  That way November 4th can be a free afternoon for staff.
