We are grateful for the many years that the College/University has prepared students for rewarding careers, particularly in the areas of music and education. We have been blessed by the many teachers who have earned HNU degrees and will miss our collaboration.
"The Sisters of the Holy Names are immensely proud of the 154-year history and legacy of Holy Names University. We are deeply saddened that the University will need to cease operations and that future generations will not experience its inspiring mission and values. (...) This is a painful moment for all of us, including the University’s Board of Trustees, who have been entrusted with leadership and fiduciary responsibility. We know that they have worked tirelessly and with the highest integrity, loyalty, expertise, and commitment to the HNU mission."
I share in the sentiment conveyed by the response of the Sisters of the Holy Names and want to reassure that together we will work tirelessly to deliver the mission and values of our foundress, Mother Marie Rose, to the current and future students of Holy Names High School.
